Adding Senders to the Safe Senders List in Outlook
Overview:
Add known senders to the Safe Senders list to ensure their email will not go to your Junk E-mail folder.Process Considerations:
- Outlook client application installed or access to Outlook Web App
Instructions
Adding senders to the Safe Senders list in the Outlook client application

- On the Ribbon, from the Home tab, select the Junk icon.
- From the drop-down list, select Junk E-mail Options.
. - Select the Safe Sender tab.
- Click Add.
- In the dialog box, type an email address or domain
- Click OK.
- Click Apply to save your changes. Emails from this sender will now be prevented from automatically going to your Junk Email folder.
- On the Ribbon, from the Home tab, select the Junk icon.
Adding senders to the Safe Senders list in the Outlook Web App

- Sign into www.office.com
- Open Outlook.
- Click the gear icon in the upper right.
- Click on View all Outlook settings.
- Click Junk Email and click on Add.
- Type the mail address or domain of the sender and hit enter when finished.
- Click on Save to finish.
- Sign into www.office.com
