Label a Message as "junk" or "not junk" in Outlook
Overview:
The junk e-mail filter in Outlook sometimes classifies non-junk & junk messages inaccurately. You can quickly reclassify messages if you need to.Process Considerations:
- You must have an installed Outlook client application or accessing Outlook Web with a browser.
Instructions
Labeling a message as "Junk" in Outlook

Select a message in the reading pane, or open the message or messages you wish to classify as junk.

On the Home tab, click the Junk icon, and then click Block Sender.

The message is moved to the junk email folder for that account, and it is also assigned to the junk category.
Labeling a message as "Not Junk" in Outlook

In the message list in your Junk Email folder, select the message or messages you wish to classify as "Not Junk."

On the Home tab, click the Junk icon, and then click Not Junk.

The message is moved to the Inbox folder of the mail account and removed from the Junk category.
Another way to help prevent legitimate messages from reaching the junk folder, add the sender to the safe sender list. Please see the "Adding senders to the safe sender list" article.
Labeling a message as "Junk" in Outlook Web App
1. Sign into www.Office.com
2. From Outlook click to check mark the message.
3. In the menu click the ellipsis ... select Block and then click Block sender.
4. Click OK to accept or Cancel to decline. The message will be deleted and future messages will move to the Junk Email folder
Labeling a message as "Not Junk" in Outlook Web App
1. Sign into www.Office.com
2. From Outlook, select the Junk Email folder. Locate and click to check mark the message.
3. In the menu click the ellipsis ... select Block and then click Never Block sender.
4. Click OK to accept or Cancel to decline. The message will show up in your inbox moving forward.
