Teams Voice Call Queues Making an Outbound Call & Other Options
Overview:
Using Call Queues with Teams voice application and phones for making outbound calls and toggle off receiving calls.Process Considerations:
- You must be setup with Call Queues access.
- To make a phone call from the Call Queue number with the Teams app.
- From the Teams app click the Calls tab.
- Input the number you want to call.
- Select from the Call as myself drop down the Call Queue you want to dial out as.
- To View the Call Queue history of callers and voice messages
- Click into the Calls tab then check the call history. Call Queue inbound and outbound message will display in the history, this includes voice messages.
- Click into the Calls tab then check the call history. Call Queue inbound and outbound message will display in the history, this includes voice messages.
- To make a phone call from the Call Queue number with a Yealink phone.
- From the phone home screen select Calls.
- Select from the Call as myself drop down the Call Queue you want to dial out as.
- Input the number you want to call.
- Opting out of a Call Queue (If the option is available (not grayed out))
- From the Teams application click Settings
- Select the Calls menu option.
- Select the Call Queue from the top.
- Toggle off the Receive Calls option
- From the Teams application click Settings
