Creating a Personal Greeting for Teams Voicemail

Overview: Provide a step by step process for setting up a Teams voicemail personal greeting with the Teams application.


Process Considerations:

  • When you are configured with Teams Voice a default voicemail greeting is applied to your account.
  • Teams application and a phone number

Setup Voicemail and Record a Greeting

  1. In the Teams app, towards the top right, click on the three ellipses ..., click Settings, and click Calls.

  2. In the Manage voicemail section, click Record a greeting.

  3. To record a new voicemail greeting, listen to the prompts and follow the instructions to record your personal greeting.
