Using the Voicemail Web Portal

Overview:

UWSA and UW Extended Campus employees can access their voicemail and change some settings through the web browser. Follow the instructions below to access your voicemail, change your PIN, and/or change your greetings.

Process Considerations:

  • If you are not in the office and working remotely, you will need to connect to the VPN before proceeding.

Log in to check messages

  1. Open a web browser and go to voicemail.wisconsin.edu.  
  2. In the Sign In window, sign in with the email address that you are using to sign into Cisco Jabber along with that password.

  3. Once signed in, you will see your inbox with all your messages.

Changing your voicemail pin

  1. Click on the Settings button.
  2. On the top bar, hover over Passwords and then click on Change PIN.

  3. Type in your new 5 digit PIN into the New PIN and Confirm New PIN fields. Click on Save to change your PIN.

Changing your greeting

  1. Click on the Settings button.
  2. Hover over Greetings and select View Greetings.

  3. Click on the greeting you want to change. The default greeting is the Standard greeting.

  4. Click on the Record button and record your message. After you are done, click on Save.
