Running the University Staff Temporary (LTE) Hours Report in HRS

Overview

This user procedure describes how to run and use the University Staff Temporary (LTE) Hours Report. The University Staff Temporary (LTE) Hours Report (UWHRR013) provides cumulative hours worked for each active University Staff Temporary (LTE) Job within the most recent twelve months from the job anniversary date. It is used to monitor the statutory 1040 hour limit for an University Staff Temporary (LTE) appointment within a 12 month period. This report includes only hours paid in HRS.

Messages in the Status column:

  • OVER 840: the hours for the University Staff Temporary (LTE) job total more than 840
  • OVER 1040: the total exceeds 1040 hours

Process Considerations:

  • This report runs after each biweekly payroll confirm. It can also be run on an Ad Hoc basis by Business Unit, Division, Department, or Subdepartment.
  • Review the messages in the Status column: "OVER 840" if the hours for the University Staff Temporary (LTE) job total more than 840 and "OVER 1040" when the total exceeds 1040 hours.
