Process Considerations:

• This list is only for use by staff who migrated from a primary @uwsa.edu account to a @wisconsin.edu account as part of the Harmony project.
• New hires will have a different experience than staff who underwent a migration.
• This document does not apply to the following UW organizations:
  • Extended Campus
  • Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship
  • Shared Services 
  • Wisconsin Humanities Council

Important notes

• This list is applicable effective October 29, 2024.
• @uwsa.edu refers to your pre-migration account. For example: "John Smith or "jsmith@uwsa.edu"
• @wisconsin.edu refers to your post-migration account. For example: "john.smith" or "john.smith@wisconsin.edu"
• If you are already using a @wisconsin.edu account with any application listed below as @uwsa.edu and you are not experiencing any issues...you can continue to do so and do not need to change back to your @uwsa.edu account for login.
• Because the campus selection screen used by many of these applications remembers your selection, it is our recommendation to use separate internet browsers (Edge, Chrome, FireFox)...one for applications you log into with your @uwsa.edu account, and one for applications you log into with your @wisconsin.edu account. 
• When selecting your organization from the drop-down you will need to choose the "UW-Shared Services" option to log in using your @wisconsin.edu account. When logging it to applications with your @uwsa.edu account continue to select "UW System Administration" from the drop-down menu.
