Okta Password Reset
Overview:
This will guide will show you how to reset the password on your account.Process Considerations:
- You will need one of your Security Methods present to reset the password on your account.
- You will need to use the correct portal when resetting your password.
Change Password
If you already know the password to your account, you can change your password from your Okta portal.

Log into the myapps portal and click on your profile drop down on the top right.
Click on Settings
On the settings page, navigate to the change password section to do a self-service password update.
Resetting Password
If you do not remember your password, you can click Forgot Password on the login screen. You will need to input your email first before you see the option to reset your password.
Okta will then prompt you to authenticate with either one of your Security Methods or via your recovery email.
Once you have verified your identity, you will be prompted to set a new password. Please follow the password requirements as detailed on the page.
Unlocking Account
At the initial login screen, you will have the option to Unlock your account near the bottom.
This will prompt you to verify your identity with either a security method or recovery email.
Once successfully verified, your account will be unlocked!
