Restoring previous web browser sessions

Overview:

Follow the procedures outlined below to re-open all closed tabs from a previous web browser session.

Process Considerations:

Instructions

Microsoft Edge

  1. In the upper right of the browser window, click on the menu icon:  Microsoft Edge Menu
  2. In the popup menu, select “History”

  3. Click on the session to restore (most recent will be listed on the top)
  4. Your previous tabs will open

Mozilla Firefox

  1. In the upper right of the browser window, click on the menu icon: FireFox Menu
  2. In the popup menu, select "History"
  3. Click on "Restore Previous Session"

Google Chrome

  1. In the upper right of the browser window, click on the menu icon:  
  2. In the popup menu, select "History"
  3. A popup will display with recent browser sessions listed under "Recently Closed"

  4. Click on the session to restore (most recent will be listed on the top)
  5. To restore the session, click on "Restore Window"
