Running the Furlough/Temporary Workforce Reduction (TWR) Queries in HRS

This document explains how to view and run queries related to Furlough and Temporary Workforce Reductions.

Process Considerations:

  • Queries can be viewed within HRS or exported to Excel.

Instructions for Furlough Incorrect FTE Query

This query is used to verify that the correct Job Data Action reason was used to change an employee's FTE.

  1. Navigate to Reporting Tools > Query > Query Viewer.

  2. To the right of Search By Query Name begins with, enter UW_HR_INCORRECT_FTE_CD.

  3. Click Search.

  4. Click the HTML link to view results within HRS, or the Excel link to export results to an Excel workbook.

  5. Optional: Enter any of the following values to refine results:
       Business Unit: e.g., UWSTP, UWSYS; partial values and wildcards are not accepted; click magnifying glass to view valid values
       Dept ID: e.g., A530200, K101000;  partial values and wildcards will return zero results

  6. Click View Results.

  7. Correct the Job Data action/action reason if the incorrect action/action reason code was used.

Restored Leave for Temp Workforce Reduction Employees

This query is used to identify employees who are on a temporary workforce reduction (TWR), if and when their leave balances were restored, and what the balances were restored to.
  1. Navigate to Reporting Tools > Query > Query Viewer.

  2. To the right of Search By Query Name begins with, enter UW_HR_TWR_FTE.

  3. Click Search.

  4. Click the HTML link to view results within HRS, or the Excel link to export results to an Excel workbook.

  5. Review results.
